Author Guidelines

National Sustainable Development Studies welcomes the submission of original research articles, review articles, and case studies in the fields of religious studies and education. Authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure their manuscripts meet the journal's standards.

1. Manuscript Submission

  1. Online Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system. Manuscripts sent via email or other means will not be considered.
  2. File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  3. Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English.

2. Manuscript Structure

  1. Title Page: The title page should include the manuscript title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information (email address). This page should be submitted separately to ensure a double-blind review process.
  2. Abstract: An abstract of 150-250 words summarizing the research objective, methods, results, and conclusions.
  3. Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords relevant to the manuscript’s content.
  4. Main Text: The main text should follow the structure: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if any), References.
    1. Introduction: Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and significance.
    2. Literature Review: Summarize previous research related to the topic.
    3. Methodology: Describe the research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
    4. Results: Present findings clearly and concisely.
    5. Discussion: Interpret the results in the context of existing knowledge.
    6. Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and suggest future research directions.
  1. References:All references must follow the APA (7th edition) citation style.

3. Formatting Guidelines

  1. Article Template: Authors must use the provided Article Template for formatting their manuscripts. The template can be downloaded [here].
  2. Font and Spacing: Follow the specifications provided in the template for font type, size, and spacing.
  3. Headings: Use the heading styles outlined in the template to organize the manuscript.
  4. Tables and Figures: Place tables and figures as indicated in the template. Each table and figure must have a title and be numbered consecutively.
  5. Footnotes: Use footnotes sparingly and according to the template guidelines.

4. Ethical Considerations

  1. Plagiarism: Manuscripts must be original works that have not been published elsewhere. All submissions will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin. Plagiarized manuscripts will be rejected.
  2. Ethical Research: If the research involves human or animal subjects, authors must comply with ethical standards and provide a statement of ethical approval.
  3. Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

5. Author Responsibilities

  1. Accuracy: Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their data and information.
  2. Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and approved the final manuscript.
  3. Corrections: Authors must notify the journal immediately if errors are discovered after submission.

6. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors can expect initial feedback within 3-7 weeks.

7. Submission Checklist
Before submitting, ensure the following:

  1. The manuscript adheres to the journal’s format and style guidelines.
  2. All authors have agreed to the submission.
  3. Ethical approval for research involving human/animal subjects has been obtained.
  4. A cover letter outlining the significance of the research is included.
