Publishing Model

Open Access
This journal published by No publisher info.

National Sustainable Development Studies utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. These systems allow libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

  1. LOCKSS: The Global LOCKSS Network ensures that content from the journal is preserved with explicit publisher permission, which is secured via written contracts or through online permission statements. This system guarantees that multiple copies of each item are stored securely across different libraries, ensuring long-term digital preservation.
  2. CLOCKSS: CLOCKSS archives content and makes it freely available to everyone after a trigger event, such as a journal ceasing publication. This system also operates under explicit agreements with publishers to ensure the safe storage and eventual open access release of archived content.

We work closely with LOCKSS and CLOCKSS network implementers to develop appropriate governance and legal terms that suit the implicated content, jurisdictions, rights, and access affordances.
